Custom color Cameo, of God’s avenging Archangel, St Michael, terror of demons. Protector of warriors, grocers, soldiers, doctors, mariners, paratroopers, police, and sickness. St. Michael has four main responsibilities or “offices”, as we know from scripture and Christian tradition. The first is to combat Satan. The second is to escort the faithful to heaven at their hour of death. The third is to be a champion of all Christians, and the Church itself. The fourth is to call men from life on Earth to their heavenly judgment.
This one is an original vintage image, a layered decoupage artwork, sealed and set in a long oval antique gold tone lacework frame. The Celtic scrolled bail is wirewrapped securely to the cameo frame. This frame holds an original vintage image, custom cut and layered 2x, edited, printed on archival photo paper then I cut these by hand to fit the frame. Then the image is triple sealed allowed to set. Then triple poured with an epoxy with a marine quality glass resin. The entire process is fully crafted by professed religious hands.
